Play It Forward is Music Aid Northwest’s signature fundraising event. It is also a choice: a choice by companies, families, and community leaders to say that a child’s access to music should not be determined by the ZIP code they were born into or the budget their school was handed.
Each spring, more than 150 guests gather for a night of student performances, live music, and purpose. They do more than listen and applaud. The room funds instruments, and programs stay alive because of it.
Sponsorship is a public declaration that your company, your family, or your name stands behind Washington students — and that when music programs were threatened, you refused to let them disappear.

Music Aid Northwest has no paid employees, no offices, and no layers of administration between the donor and the student. Board members volunteer their time and meet in private homes. Play It Forward expenses are covered by ticket revenue. Insurance, marketing, and supplies account for less than 2% of funds received.
98% of all funds raised support music education in Washington: instruments, repairs, classrooms, teachers, students. That is where the money goes, and that is why every gift matters.
