Governor Gregoire Signs the Music Matters Bill

Governor Signs Music Matters Bill

Members of the Music Aid Northwest Board of Directors, along with bill sponsor Representative Marcie Maxwell, and a host of supporters were on hand as Washington Governor Chris Gregoire signed HB1329 into law on May 3, 2011.

Music Aid Northwest would like to thank the members of the Legislature, the Governor and Lt. Governor and their staff members who worked so hard to help us realize this goal. We'd also like to thank our tireless army of volunteers who have helped us gather signatures and spread the word about this important program.
